Today marks the European Day of Solidarity and Cooperation between Generations. It was created in 2009 by the European Platform for Older Persons and European Youth Forum to give visibility to the importance and need for solidarity between different generations. Today more than ever, words like solidarity and cooperation make sense, two words full of history, present and future, and with which it will be much easier to meet the basic needs of people around us and around the world. Solidarity and cooperation between generations must be signs of identity coined and engraved in our consciences and in our hearts, to continue fighting and building a more just, solidary world where peace, the common good, Human Rights and the dignity of each person grow in all parts of our planet. #generaciones #solidaridad #apoyo
